Call for Liturgists

Karis Worship invites talented artists from all disciplines to contribute their unique perspectives and creative expressions to our liturgical resources.

We are seeking visual artist, musicians, writers, and more to infuse our worship with vibrant new expressions.

Submission Date: September 8, 2025

Timeline

Open Call Launch: August 18, 2025
‍Submission Deadline: September 8, 11:59 PM EDT
‍Artist Selection Notification: September 15, 2025
‍Final work due: November 3, 2025                

Submission Requirements

• Author info and CV
• Sample of Previous Work: Submit at least two written and/or published liturgies or worship services that you have created. Each sample must include at least three major written elements of the following: Call to Worship, Invocation, Confession & Assurance, Prayers of the People, Offertory Invitation and Prayer, Responsive Readings, Benediction
• Author Statement: One paragragh expressing why you are interested in this project.
• Interpretive Guide: Please submit a few sentences with instructions, suggestions, and/or ideas how pastors can best use our original liturgy with children.

Compensation & Rights

Compensation: $500 flat fee

• Karis Worship will retain all copyright and usage rights for worship and educational purposes
• All authors will be credited appropriately
